We’re really happy to announce that the Smart School Councils Community has now reached over 1,000 members.

That’s 1,000 teachers and students from around 850 schools across the world. Most of them are in the UK, but we’re really excited to have schools from all over the world joining up to improve too.

From the beginning, the SSCC has been active in many ways. From delivering school council training to running school council pirate events, everything we do is about making school councils more fun, inclusive and powerful. We have been really busy; I went to The Houses Of Parliament to discuss many things with the Education Service and we are happy to say that we are running an event for Parliament week in November.

Asher just came back from Pakistan, and Greg has been doing some school council training in Warsaw. The SSCC has many great things to look forward too!

We’d like to thank all of our members for joining the SSCC, and we look forward to meeting the next 1,000! If you’d like to join, you can do so here:
